Opportunity to harness the capabilities of AeroPulsR for Animal Healthcare
The technologies have been evaluated and are robust for multiple field applications. For example, an aerosol wand enables the aerosol to be delivered when and wherever the operator chooses. We expect the operator will use the devices for other uses beyond those briefly outlined below. Given the modest investment in the functional modifications of KAER’s technologies, there exists a substantial opportunity to both markedly improve pet and animal health care while improving quality animal product consumption
Chicks
Current vaccination sprayers generate oversized 100-150 µm particles, whereas AeroPulsR generates 5 µm diameter aerosols. This results in the usage of only 1/15,000th of the volume used by current systems. Adoption of treatment for pullets and hens is possible.​
Porcine and Bovine
High concentration aerosol is readily delivered to the nose without the use of a head-mask.
Equine
Inadequate aerosol devices may be removed from present masks and the output from AeroPulsR can deliver 10 times the dose of the agent directly to the nose for more efficacious therapy within a short treatment time. Surfactant replacement therapy in premature foals with respiratory distress is possible.
Companion and Small Animal
AeroPulsR is readily adapted for delivery of medications to the animal according to their size.
