Medical Product Development Engineer is required to transform a laboratory aerosol generation and delivery system into a medical device for the delivery of drugs to patients. Knowledge of aerosol physics, physicochemical properties of lipids and proteins, heat and mass transfer, fluid dynamics aerosol photometry, and mechanical engineering is involved. Preference will be given to candidates who have exceptional technical and interpersonal skills together with a relevant masters or preferably doctoral degree. Industrial experience is preferred. Candidates who wish to see their contributions lead to a commercial medical product are required. It is expected that this person’s experimental, developmental, regulatory and business responsibilities will increase with the company’s expansion. Systems Control Engineer is required to transform a laboratory aerosol generation and delivery system into a medical device for the delivery of drugs to patients. The candidate should have expertise in medical electromechanical control systems, graphic user interfaces and the programing of these. Preference will be given to candidates who have exceptional technical and interpersonal skills together with a relevant masters or preferably doctoral degree. Industrial experience is preferred.
